Android download just gives me a PC zip file download page. Please fix that.
If Android apk fixes their side I will do my side. Standard apk size in forced by Android is 2gb. The game is more. You will have to download the PC version onto your phone, then play / install it via JoiPlay app.
Is the "Uncensored patch" necessary for a more enjoyable experience? if so, which file to duplicate for a back up? (got a little confused) Thx! loving the game!
Hey, the patch is made for those who enjoy that type of relationship. The story as I sell it (non patch) is very similar to patched and vice versa. Both stories are same with slight variations. Up to you which or how you want relationships enjoyed, but they do not alter the story.

As i have posted on my patreon page, Yes MC will return to Earth. Maybe sooner than we all think. Episode 2 will open the story and MC's thoughts a bit more. A while back before i completed Season 1 or episode 9 of Season 1 , I showed an image of Maggie standing at Anne's house asking MC to go with her. I said that is the moment AE actually starts. Season 1 was more a big ass Prologue than a season if you will. It's an introduction of sorts. Season 2 is the meat and balls and I thinks its going to feel too fast once its done. Almost like Season 1 and Season 3 felt in RTP.
You want to know something else. I have already started working on my next game's story, once AE is complete. MAN this story is even "better" dare i say. But that is still years away. For now, I've got you all, dont' worry. MC's horse penis isnt the way forward and he will be on Earth again. AE story is complete, written out over 2yrs ago. I am now just tweaking it.

Okay v1.9.0 is out. This is the final episode for Season 1.
Please take note of the following:
At the end of each playthrough you will get a choice to "export" the choice/path you are on. This is an one at a time thing. You can do it many times but will have to play each choice/path up till this "export" option at the end of Season 1. The best way forward is to keep your Season 1 AE game and wait till Season 2, episode 1 starts. In s2e1. you will have an option called "Continue from Season 1" slider button which you choose, and it will pick up the exported option you created in Season 1. Play this exported option till s2e1 actually starts then save it to a save location and name it accordingly.
Once that is done, open v1.9.0 (season 1) again, choose a different playthrough and do the export part. Open season 2 game and do the import, play a bit and save. repeat to transfer (export) multiple playthroughs. Please take note, your actual game/save folder files WILL NOT WORK by copying and loading in Season 2. ONLY the export option will transfer your playthrough across.
Please add this game to Steam as well, as I collect all the games on there :3
I kinda wanna have them all on 1 platform also do let me know if we can review any more future games you make or recommend that we should look at.

Hey Micheal. I know you have RTP curator copies and if I recall you gave a great RTP review. So don't worry AE Season 1 will come to Steam this year. I hope you will then also review and advertise it AE as you have done for RTP. So if you can now already spread the word that AE will be on steam this year and as soon as the Wishlist is done ask player to add to their Wishlists.

Hello Misterknobb. The 2 very first sex scene, one with Samara with her boyfriend in the ally, and the second with Anne and the two prostitutes in her home. I almost checked out after that, but I'm glad I didn't. One of the things that helped me keep reading is because I liked the MC. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy. I can't stand MC's that are douchbags that seem to only think about themselves and their dick. After those two scenes, never had that cuck feeling again.

Those scenes were NEVER ever there to cuck or piss off people. They were only there to serve one purpose. After many players not liking it i did add the option to see it or not. Still this wasn't enough for many players as the event still happens if MC watches or not. I am not changing this as I wanted players to realise that these women have /had their own lives. Anne's lonely and Samara is in a relationship only out of desperation because of her situation/financial state. The idea was and still is to have you the player, play as MC and win these women over forever into your harem or circle. I think MC does this as you said, without being a chad or alpha male prick.
I am truly happy you stuck around and played up till v1.8.0 and enjoying the "story" more than the side events. Believe me when i say the story will really expand from v2.1.0 (Season 2 E 1)... For now v.1.9.0 will end with a bit of surprise.
Finally AE is NOT a NTR, cuck game. Neither is it a Alpha male dominate all women game. It's simply a game with character growth and I hope great story.
Please, please, please, don't take what I said as an attack to your story! You asked me for my honest opinion so I gave it. I absolutely think you should NOT change a thing about it. I'm a bit picky when it comes to AVN's that I read and that's my problem, not the dev's that work so hard to make their great stories. My feedback was about my own personal taste and nothing more. I feel like that by giving reader the option to not see those scene was very cool of you. The only reason I mentioned those scenes and why I almost checked out was because those two are the very first lewd scenes you see in the AVN and you can't help but wonder if that was going to be the trend of the whole game. Honestly, that is a ME issue and no dev should ever change THEIR story just to please others. Like I said, once I got past those two, the story only got better and hotter! I honestly hope you didn't think I was saying you should change something in your story because I absolutely would not.

Also note that I have made it so that Honey/Charmane and Amber are now choose-able, but you will have to restart the game should you want to get rid of any of the 3 in future updates unfortunately.

What app should I use to install on android? I'm getting it's "invalid" on a regular install attempt and some apps are saying it's missing a certificate. I also tried JoiPlay like suggested below, but JoiPlay won't find the file.

How to play on Android:
1. Download the PC version (windows) of the ren’py game.
2. Unpack the .zip using RAR or your desired unpacking tool.
3. Download Joiplay and the Ren’py plugin through the Google Play store.
4. Launch Joiplay, when your on the main menu click the “+” button on the bottom right. Enter game name, version and (optional) game icon. On the “Executable File” click Choose and go to the location where you downloaded the game, when inside the unpacked game folder choose the .exe game file and click Choose. When all information looks correct, feel free to click on the “Add” button. You’re now done and good to go. Have fun! (You may also want to move saves around) To play rpgm/ rpg maker games you can use this app:
Oof. I don't actually have a pc, so I'm out of luck. I guess follow up question is I played part 1 of RTP fine on mobile, are part 2 and 3 easily installable on mobile or like this?
I think they should be fine if you install them separately. The problem I have noticed with Android apk files are that they don't like to install if bigger than 2GB in size. Nothing I can do to fix this, its an Android thing.
S2 of RTP is around 1.7gb so all good. S3 is 2.4gb so that may be a problem for you.

I had to get Retrieving the Past ready or published on STEAM. Yes it meant Alternate Existence v1.6.0 had to stall a bit. Unforeseen issue's with STEAM launch. BUUUUUT I'm on AE now again like white on rice.
So far I have about 200 renders done and 3 animations. Lot's to do still and I have renders waiting to be rendered. I fear... yes that AE v1.6.0 may be a couple of week later or take longer to finish than my normal 3 to 4month period. Closer to 4 months than 3 BUT let's see. I'll push hard from here on.
