Note, you have to have played Season 1 of Alternate Existence to be able playing Season 2.
Story Drive and optional women: (SPOILER ALERT)
Alternate Existence is a strongly story driven Visual Novel with dialogue choices and alternate paths/girl choices for some girls.
However, some of the women are a part of the story arc so you cannot "get out" of these relationships as it would completely drive the story into a wrong direction. The female cast is extensive, and it is not possible to branch each story driven character out into an in-depth character-arc or completely write them out.
The whole game hinges on the story progression of the main character and although it looks like it, it is not your normal University MC going to get all the girl's story. No, the story will surprise you.
If this is not for you, Alternate Existence isn't the game for you. The story direction and relationships are set and will not change unfortunately.
Story driven characters: Adrianna, Anne, Asami, Daniella, Marie, Summer Andrea or Tania (girlfriend choice)
Other characters are optional or game npc. But definitely more characters than mentioned above

I purchased 2nd part on itch, but when i try to load the save it just gives me an error and won't load.
Hey. Did you read how to transfer the save files over on the itch season 2 page?
You need a save file that is AFTER the Daniella and MC night club scene. Prefereably one where MC drops her off at home. Any playthrough save after that point will work in S2. Once you have copied over the save folder with your saves as mentioned above, then use the "Continue to load" button at main menu of Season 2 game. This will ask you if you want to see the girls you were close with in Season 1 and then start Season 2.
So I bought S1 on steam - ist there a relesae date for S2 for that or can I, somehow, continue by downloading S2 from here?
Season 2, steam edition will only be available once the whole season 2 is completed. For those players who would like to not wait until then, they can purchase each episode update on itch or subscribestar or my patron page.
